Network Discovery not available after Endpoint Defender ATP Basline enabled.

After you have turned on Microsoft 365 Endpoint Defender ATP Security Baseline, Windows 10 will not allow the user to turn on Network Discovery. Here are the steps to get it back.

Step 1. Click Network icon on Windows 10 desktop and view Network discovery turned off message.

Step 2. Log into Microsoft 365. Open Endpoint manager (InTune) and open your Microsoft Defender for Endpoint Baseline profile and edit the properties.

Step 3. Edit the configuration settings and open up the Firewall section. Change the Policy rules from group policy not merged from Yes to Not configured. Press the Review + Save button.

Step 4. Sync the Windows 10 desktop with the new settings and turn on network discovery.

Step 5. View Network Devices.
